There’s no required preparation, though many people incorporate meditation, journaling, or other forms of self-reflection into their lives while working with a spiritual coach.

Group coaching clients can communicate with each other (and me) on a Signal chat.

Soul coaching means going deeper than superficial answers—it’s getting into how your heart feels about your day-to-day life on a macro level. I show you the way via the questions I ask you.

Energy healing means exploring your energy centers and identifying what may be calling your attention (e.g., a past version of yourself or a lifelong trauma pattern).

There’s no formula for how I combine these to support my clients. It’s usually a mix that’s very “Amy,” as you’ll need different types of support at different times.

You set the agenda. I show up and ask what you’d like to focus on that day, and we go from there. If you’re not sure, that’s OK too. No pressure. Let’s see what comes up for you.

Spiritual life coaching and therapy provide support in different ways. Many people work with a coach and a therapist simultaneously, while others work with one before the other.

Coaching is best suited for you if you’re currently working on or have healed from past traumas with a therapist and are you’re ready to take the next step.

Transformational or spiritual coaches don’t technically need to be certified or credentialed, but many choose to go that route to deepen their skills and add credibility.

There’s an international governing body called the International Coaching Federation (ICF) that offers credentials for professional coaching, and I chose to earn an ICF credential.

At the beginning, we’ll take some time to set our vision for a satisfying or successful soul coaching experience—what might it look like when we get there? Sometimes this is tangible; sometimes it’s a feeling. Either way, we’ll remain open to the ebb and flow as we work together.

We’ll usually both have a sense of it when we’re “done” or “done for now.”
